Datamite will rely on a consortium of 26 partners from 12 different countries to optimize issues such as monetization, interoperability, commerce and data exchange

To obtain a real solution that allows any organization to increase its capacity to monetize its data. That is the objective of the Datamite project, a project recently awarded in the European Horizon Europe call that will be coordinated by the Instituto Tecnológico de Informática (ITI) and in which IoTsens will carry out the validation actions of the developments in Spain.

This project will rely on a consortium of 26 partners distributed in 12 different countries to optimize issues such as monetization, interoperability, trading and data exchange.

The focus will be on the development of a modular technology stack that meets business needs such as governance and security, without neglecting ingest and storage. To this end, Datamite will develop business plans and create technical training material to improve the knowledge of the staff of private companies and public entities, which will then be offered openly.

This project will work on six pilot projects that will cover scenarios linked to sectors such as agriculture, energy, industry and the environment. It should be noted that the initiative has a budget of 12.2 million euros and will be developed over the next thirty-six months.

Datamite is funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe research and innovation program. More information about the project: https://datamite-horizon.eu/
