On November the 23rd, we traveled to Villarreal to take part in Fair Destaca. This fair is the top  one in terms of transferring scientific and technological knowledge in the Valencian Community. It involves universities and training centers and also professionals in technology parks. Among the fairs’ main objectives are innovation and the dissemination of the latest developments in the industrial sector.

IoTsens was part of a very interesting panel of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things in which we had the pleasure of sharing the table with professionals from Nayar Systems, Efi Cretaprint, Digit-S, Sacmi Iberica and System, all top technological companies of the area. We also had the chance to count with the excellent moderation skills of Paco Corma, director of QPT Consulting and expert in innovation.

During the roundtable the possibilities of Industrial IoT were explored, going into details about how, when and how many real benefits it reports to the company that invests in the technology of the future. Other issues such as the different sensors that exist for industrial machinery, as well as their preventive maintenance, readings and parameters to handle were discussed.

The world is moving forward and the industry should not be left behind. Every day more and more companies embrace the opportunities and improvements made possible by the Internet of Things. With the recent rise of these fairs it is clear that there is a growing interest of society in knowing and learning about the applications of these new technologies.
