IoTsens has been awarded with the Innovation Award of the contest Company of the Year, the economic event organized by Mediterráneo newspaper with Telefónica sponsorship.

IoTsens has been one of the 8 companies recognized during this edition of the business contest, which this year celebrated its twentieth anniversary and which have been attended by about 70 companies, of which only 17 were selected to move to the final stage.

Miguel Ángel Royo, IoTsens Managing Director, as well as Ignacio Llopis, head of Business Development of the firm, were in charge of receiving the award. In their speech, they recalled the trajectory that the firm has followed since its beginnings in 2013 until today and highlighted its “satisfaction” for having achieved that “a product developed 100% in Castellón province is up to any technological multinational”.

Accordingly, they expressed their willingness to continue working to help Castellón regions and their companies “become reference in innovation, industry 4.0, Internet of Things and Smart Cities.”

More than 400 people attended the evening of awards ceremony, which was held in the Castellón Auditorium and attended by prominent personalities from the business, economic and institutional fields, as the president of Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig; The vice president and consellera of Equality and Inclusive Policies, Mònica Oltra; The president of Les Corts Valencianes, Enric Morera; As well as consellers, provincial and local political authorities, businessmen and representatives of sectoral associations.
