HTE mix

The “HTE Mix Sensor” is equipped with two different sensors in order to collect data on humidity and temperature both environmental and soil.

The environmental sensor is responsible for measuring relative humidity and temperature, while the soil sensor measures the relative humidity of the ground. The soil moisture sensor is located at the end of a wire protected with a waterproof case and resin from which come three steel elements to contact the geological material and take precision measurements.

Thanks to its low power temperature and humidity sensors, this low power device can be used in a wide area of applications in order to take operation decisions based on  historical data that represent the real system behavior.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION

The transmitter module and the battery are installed inside an enclosure that provide the sensor with an IP66 level of insulation and make it operational in a wide temperature range, thus being able to work in harsh environmental conditions.

The equipment must be installed outdoors, in a zone free of metal surfaces so that transmissions can be carried out correctly.

Moreover, the soil moisture sensor must be installed at enough depth so that external environmental factors do not affect the measurements recorded by the buried sensor. The burial distance will depend on the type of soil and the environmental conditions.
